So really, how does this work?

  • We take all the hassle out of baking – we hunt down recipes that taste amazing, we send just enough of all the ingredients so you don’t have to buy expensive items you only use once, and we send everything pre-measured so you can get right to the fun parts
  • Each month, the box contain a beautiful recipe card with picture instructions, all the shelf-stable ingredients pre-measured, and additional information about the recipe you are making
  • Our artisanal recipe always include a unique ingredient so you get to try out a whole world of delicious desserts
  • We keep it simple with a monthly subscription option that auto-renews or you can opt into just 1, 3, 6, or 12 months. You can cancel anytime (just check out our cancellation policy below) so no risk to try it out!

What comes with my Whisk & Flour subscription?

  • Our boxes each contain a beautiful recipe card with picture instructions, all the shelf-stable ingredients pre-measured, and additional information about the recipe you are making
  • From time to time, we also include baking tools as an added bonus
  • Not only do you make a wonderful recipe, but also learn a bit about unique ingredients or baking traditions

What desserts can I expect?

  • We want to keep a little bit of an element of surprise so we don’t post our recipes until we send them out
  • You can check out past treats on the Home Page to give you an idea of what you will make

What do I need to have at home?

  • We assume you have some fridge staples around the house – eggs, butter, and milk
  • But we wouldn’t ask for anything beyond these basics – no skyr Icelandic yogurt, whey butter, or goat milk required 🙂 But it’s awesome if you have those lying around
  • We also assume you have some basic baking gear such as bowls, spoons, mixer (although you can do just about all the recipes by hand, but a mixer makes it easier), and baking sheets
  • We are assuming just the basics because we want to make great baking accessible to everyone!

How much does the subscription cost?

  • Boxes cost $28 / month or about the cost of two – three desserts at a restaurant
  • Our recipes make way more goodies – we aim for 10-15 servings per box so there is more than enough to go around, but totally up to you if you want to share. We aren’t going to tell 
  • And of course, delivery is free

Where do you deliver?

  • We ship anywhere in the contiguous U.S. for free. Sorry Alaska & Hawaii!
  • If you are from somewhere else, feel free to contact us. If we get enough interest, we may expand abroad… try to take over the world and such – well only with desserts, but we think it still counts

How do I sign up?

  • Yay! We’re so excited that you’re excited about Whisk & Flour. Just use this like to sign up!

I signed up, when do I get my first box? I want to bake!

  • We are so excited you signed up! Thanks!
  • If you signed up before the end of the month, you’ll get your package around the third week of the next month
  • In the meantime, check us out on Like us, follow up, pin us… we like all those things. We post yummy dessert pics all the time and the recipes

Can you adjust for allergies?

  • Sorry, but we can’t accommodate allergies at this time
  • We do follow the best practices in safe food handling, but all our orders are packaged in the same facility
  • But feel free to contact us. If we get enough interest, we’ll try to figure something out to accommodate allergies!

Are your ingredients organic?

  • We care about great baking and great baking starts with great ingredients – all of our ingredients are of high quality
  • We try our best to use USDA certified organic, but sometimes organic just doesn’t make sense for baking. For example, certified organic baking soda simply does not exist. But it did lead us to learn more about baking soda. If you are curious, check out the Wikipedia page to learn more
  • If you have questions about a specific ingredient, just contact us

How do I store my Whisk & Flour package?

  • We recommend you keep the Whisk & Flour box out of direct sunlight and use it within two weeks of getting it
  • We are sending shelf-stable items, but no one likes stale desserts

Who should sign up for Whisk & Flour? I mean, do I need to be a pastry chef to make Whisk & Flour goodies?

  • You definitely do not need to be a pastry chef to subscribe! The whole point of Whisk & Flour is to make great baking accessible
  • In that vein, our recipes do not require advanced baking techniques to make delicious desserts
  • So go ahead and subscribe if you want to try out some new dessert recipes that end with you eating delicious treats
  • Whisk & Flour is also a great gift for birthdays, wedding gifts, graduations, anniversaries, the holidays and just because
  • Just remember, if you get Whisk & Flour for someone else, you might get to try some delicious creations yourself. We aren’t against quid pro quo when it comes to baking

Can I gift a Whisk & Flour subscription?

  • Sure! You can sign someone else up for Whisk & Flour. In fact, we encourage it… nothing better than gifting someone the fun of baking in the kitchen hassle-free. And you might even get to try the delicious desserts
  • Just make sure you enter the right shipping information and we’ll start sending the packages right over

How do show my recipient I've gotten them a gift?

  • We include a note in our packages with your name when the billing name and shipping name differs, but you can also let the recipient know yourself. We have this nifty card for you to use. Download it here

What happens if I refer a friend?

  • We love that you love Whisk & Flour and want to share it with the world as much as we do!
  • Our company really depends on word of mouth and while we don’t have a formal referral rewards program in place, we do offer good thoughts and good karma 

How do I change my mailing address?

  • To change your mailing address, log into your account and click “Addresses” – you will see both your Billing and Shipping address. Go ahead and click “Edit” under the Shipping Address heading to change your shipping address

  • To change your billing address, log into your account and click “Addresses” – you will see both your Billing and Shipping address. Go ahead and click “Edit” under the Billing Address heading to change your shipping address

How do I change my billing information?

  • To change your billing information, log into your account and click “Subscriptions”
  • Next to the subscription for which you want to change billing information, click “View”
  • Under actions, click “Change Payment”
  • Here you can change your credit card, by clicking add new and entering your credit card information or you can switch to paypal
  • Click “Change Payment Method” when you are done

How do I change my password?

  • To change your password, log into your account and click “Account Details”
  • Enter your current password and your new password
  • Click “Save Changes” and you are all set!

I forgot my password. Now what?

  • If you forgot your password, go to the My Account page
  • On the login page, just click the “Lost Password?” link. Enter your username or e-mail address to get a link to create a new password via e-mail

How do I cancel my subscription?

  • We are so sorry to see you go! But we’ll be here when you are ready to come back
  • To cancel your subscription, log into your account
  • Click “Subscriptions” and next to the subscription you want to cancel, click “View”
  • Under actions, click “Cancel” and you are all set
  • We won’t charge you in the future – but any charges already made on your account will remain valid. We’ll make sure to send out your last box

What is your cancellation policy?

  • You may cancel your subscription at any time. For instructions, check out “How do I cancel my subscription?” above
  • Subscriptions must be cancelled before the 1st of the month. If you cancel after the 1st of the month, any charges already made on your account will remain valid. We’ll make sure to send out your last box

What is your refund policy?

  • We believe we create fantastic recipes, send quality ingredients, and provide easy to follow instructions so you can make desserts that the majority of people will love
  • In the unlikely event that you do not like how the dessert comes out, we cannot do refunds or exchanges. We suggest giving it a try or sharing the desserts with others! Yummy is in the eye of the beholder
  • But, if your package went missing, some of the ingredients are missing, or you received damaged ingredients, we’ll make sure to either send a replacement or issue a refund. Sorry about that! Just contact us here and let us know what happened

What if my package went missing, some of the ingredients are missing, or some of the ingredients are damaged?

  • So sorry about that! We try really hard to make everything run smoothly, but sometimes we do make mistakes
  • Please contact us here and we’ll fix it
  • Just one thing – if the box went missing because an incorrect shipping address was entered at checkout, no replacement will be sent

When will you charge my card?

  • You credit card / paypal account is charged the 1st of every month
