1cup unsalted butter at room temperature
1/2cup powdered sugar
2cup all-purpose flour
1/4tsp baking powder
1cup poppy seed filling (get the recipe here)


1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Line loaf pan with parchment paper. Bring poppy seed filling to room temperature
2. In a medium bowl, sift together the flour and baking powder. Set aside
3. In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Stir in the flour mixture until well-combined
4. Pat down half the dough into the loaf pan
5. Spread poppy seed filling evenly over the bottom crust
6. Pat down the remaining dough lightly over the filling
7. Bake in preheated oven for ~35-40min until lightly browned. Cool for 10min in the pan set over a wire rack before removing from pan. Cool completely before serving
