White Chocolate Frosting White Chocolate Frosting

Time: 25min (prep: 5min / inactive: 15min / bake: 5min)
Makes: 2 1/2 cup (enough for 12 cupcakes)


2/3cup(4oz) white chocolate chips
5oz cream cheese at room temperature
3tbsp butter at room temperature
1/2tsp vanilla extract
1 3/4cup powdered sugar


1. Place chocolate in a glass or metal bowl. Set the bowl on top of a pot of simmering water. Make sure the water does not touch the bottom of the bowl. Stir occasionally until melted. Alternatively, melt in the microwave in 20sec increments, stirring after each. Let cool to room temperature (~15min)
2. In a separate bowl, whisk the butter and cream cheese until well-combined. Beat in the chocolate and vanilla
3. Add sugar ~1/4 cup at a time and continue whisking until fluffy. Enjoy!
